Client: Centurion House[A.B.]
Removing and replacing permanent cradle track and equipment over a staircase that was encapsulated in glass.
The access scaffold could not be founded from below as there was a fragile sprung roof over a working office.
We therefore actioned design and calculations for an intricate hanging scaffold cantilevered from the staircase roof, which was approved and accepted by our Client and the Building Engineer.
The support structure was formed using galvanised steel tube, anchored back to a protruding wall. The cantilevered beams and all hanging tubes were aluminium to minimise weight.
All aspects of this contract were carried out successfully and within time constraints by all parties.
